The oldest competitive sport on earth. Takedowns, scrambles, and mat control — taught by Coach Dan Scanlan, a 17-year coach who has developed 20+ Virginia State Champions, while keeping it fun. Beginners welcome at any age.
Every class starts with the fundamentals — shots, sprawls, and the positional awareness that separates wrestlers from everyone else on the mat. We drill technique before intensity, so beginners build real skills instead of just surviving.
Competition is optional, never forced. But when your kid is ready, we prepare them for it — match simulation, tournament strategy, weight management education, and the mental game that separates medal winners from spectators.
There's a reason every MMA champion has a wrestling background. Takedown offense and defense is the most transferable skill in martial arts. Kids who wrestle have a massive advantage in BJJ, MMA, and self-defense situations.
Four tracks: Beginner (4–13), Advanced (experienced 10–14), High School (15+), and Adult. Takedowns, scrambles, and grit.
Every session is structured for maximum learning. Warm-up, technique drilling, live situational rounds, and cool-down. Your kid leaves every class better than they walked in.
Everything you need to know before your kid hits the mat.
Once you've wrestled, everything else in life is easy.
